A Message From Katy Rush, Owner & Founder of The Perfect Pelvis
It is estimated that 10% of men will experience pelvic pain at some point in their lifetime. Much of this pain was once attributed to issues with the prostate, but in the absence of infection, 95% of this pain is caused by neuromuscular dysfunction. Male pelvic pain is commonly referred to as prostatitis and may or may not be associated with infection. If infection is present, antibiotics will often be prescribed. If no infection is present and pain remains, pelvic floor physical therapy can be helpful. Many men will also experience a weak stream or incontinence either with prostatitis or post prostate removal.

You must choose the right provider for your health. If you don’t, you could end up getting surgery (when it could have been avoided), being dependent upon medications or painkillers… or living with steadily worsening symptoms the rest of your life.
Getting the “least-invasive”, most natural treatment is VITAL to you stopping your leakage, abdominal separation issues, pelvic floor problems or hip/back/pelvic pain and keeping it from ever coming back.
Working with a provider who understands that the entire body works together is vital to your recovery. Our bodies go through incredible changes throughout are lives. We must address the changes in the neck/back/diaphragm/core/pelvic floor/pelvis, posture, strength and how we’re using our bodies to fully recover.
